weekend update
some observations and comments from the first two weeks back in the former capital:

Now that I'm officially in my 4th year, now more than ever this clock never seemed more alive. All of a sudden, I'm faced with decisions that actually do count towards my "future" and standing tall by my side is Father Time whispering in my ear, "tick, tock, tick tock, what will it be? Japan or grad school, how about social policy? Social work is nice, seminary too. Time to find the one that fits and toss the extra shoes." If only I was the master of time. If only I actually did follow through with my plans in elementary school to invent that time machine. If only. I think now would be an appropriate place to say "Hindsight is 20/20". Nothing ruins a "what if" or an "if only i" streak like a nice dose of "Hindsight is 20/20". It's like responding to anything with a "so's your face". That just kills whatever was being exchanged right there, because there is no comeback from a "so's your face". Wow, how did i get from what i was talking about to this? i'm quite the mercurial character. And quite pretentious as well trying to flex the vocabular muscles. Alas, this post has turned out to be more of a pathetic rant than a weekend update. However did i get past 3rd year? Ahhh 3rd year. If only i had that timemachine. And so is your face.

Cheers.

May I introduce you to...

... my new life partner Korea or K for short (in honour of the fine craftsmen and women who have pieced my beauty together from the great spruce trees of... Korea). Specifically, she's a Takamine G Series Dreadnought Bearclaw that i purchased for 660 not including taxes... 860 in total with taxes including a capo, this crazzzzzy memory foam guitar case which the salesman @ Long and McQuade was throwing against the wall with my guitar inside to demonstrate how impact proof it was. But yeah, it sounds pretty full. My brother checked it out...says the action is good...really strong mids...hi's on the other hand don't sustain so well so it's not so great for fingerpicking but strong for chords...but yeah she's been looking and feeling real good. Looks like the start of something real special. Now I just gotta learn how to play her.

that's such a dirrrty hot spread. Look at those curves, but really it's all about the sound cause Korea doesn't appreciate gawkers.
