yeah so after checking out my eyes at the optometrist i learned that 'sides from my near blind near sightedness, i also have minor astigmatism too on the side which contributes a bit to the blurring of the vision. Funny thing is that although this was news to me, apparently I had this for 5 years and my eye doctor just neglected to tell me until now. It just kinda slipped out...like "yeah so i'm gonna send out an order for new lenses for you to counter the slight changes in your right eye so if you can just see Viktor at the desk to set a pickup time that'll be great and you have astigmatism." So yeah man and since my eyes are still getting worse, i can't do up the laser treatment yet which means that if i ever plan to go surfing in the near future, either I'm going to have stumble about blind and no doubt get my ars kicked mistaking girls for my surfboard or rawk pescription goggles and still get my ars kicked for being on the beach and not at a dungeons and dragons convention. Being diagnosed with astigmatism might explain for the real clear slivers and small white chunks that i sometimes see every so often and when i try to follow them with my eyes they just zip away. But i never saw that as a problem, but moreso a dumb impossible to win game that i play with myself in trying to catch the slivers. Like in my wonder years, blinking everytime we passed by a streetlight in the car while my dad or mom was driving...Game was fun in neighbourhood zones but once we hit the open road and my dad can sometimes floor it, my eyes would get reaaal tired... which probably explains the eye problems now...that and those retarded magic eye pictures that i could never get (i mean how do you "unfocus" your eyes? I bet you nothing was ever there at all and it was just a trick to make gullible ppl look stupid... Everyone who says they can see spaceships and horses? Liars and are in on the prank. And for the rest of us trying to play the game in figuring out what's secretly (not) there like.."yeah now that i flip my eyeballs inside out and look a little to the right with my left eye while blinking with my right, i can kinda make out darth vader" meanwhile everyone else in the room is snickering. Didn't think i'd find out about ur tricks and lies diiidddd you? conspiracy theory's my gamme!). Bahhhhh! On the bright side, if i get reaaaal blind, maybe that'll be enuf justification for my dad to get me a "seeing-eyed" dog.
...and astigmatism also means that i see dead people. Woogie Boogie Nyuukeeeaaaa! |

hahahahah a seeing-eye dog would be SOO cool!! those things can learn anything.., like u could teach it to become an attack dog!!!
but yeah, sorry to hear about the eyes man....., mine are going real bad too..., i've also been experiencing twitchy eye.., in which my entire visual field begins to move back and forth...., not cool.
on the bright side.., we can just become world famous blind musicians.., cuz, u get more credit for that if u're blind u know! (did i just say that?!?)

Well done on a nice blog DarrenGene. I was searching for information on real estate investing and came across your post astigmatized - not quite what I was looking for related to real estate investing but very interesting all the same!
Well, Christmas is over and we're all getting ready for the new years and there aren't many investing days left. Although I'm still trying to grapple with where real estate prices are headed next year. My feeling is that there's still room for a little more upside movement during the year, possibly following the now bullish phase of the dollar. The economy's looking good. But best to look out those tax lien properties.
