keep on
mahalo nui for the feedback matt, pea, smileyface grace, katz, johnny, jenniferhy, jordan, angie, & melissa tan on the previous post.

Your responses for what motivates you, although they are unique to you, in turn motivates me. Beating photocopying lines johnny, avoiding bed sores katz, getting your daily sugar dose jordan -> good for you! get em! facing a new adventure jenn and grace, making an impact pea and angie and mel -> press on! At the very least, the common link between all these responses is that these motivating factors are enough to get you up every morning which makes me think that since all of yall are doing life then i better be doing life as well, even on those days when i just dont wanna. And don't we all have those days? where we think that maybe today might be better if we just stay in. Maybe today might be better if we didn't have to encounter struggle and challenges out of fear of failure or inadequacy. Maybe today might be better if i just shrink. Maybe it'd be better that way?

Well if u're ever feeling along those lines, print out the following excerpt and stick it by ur bedside (i got it beside my kitchen sink which helps me finish the dishes so i can get on with the real challenges). It's a nice piece of quotery from marianne williamson. If u watched coach carter, u'ved heard it there (altho it doesn't really have much of a place in the movie jordan and i agree):

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be. You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Much mahalos once again. Keep on.
