| innertubular. I am so clever |
I look younger in black and white shots. And a lot more white. But then again it is a black and white shot so that comes as no surprise
so yeah, after a killlller workout with eric and pete, we ran into matt on his way to an innertube waterpolo match at 9:30. Wasn't planning on going initially but after last week of playing for the first time, i decided to say, "screw being sore. If it's innertube waterpolo i want more!" (well i didn't actually say that at the time cause i'm not that clever with the rhyming on the spot, but i was thinking along those lines). So i followed matt out to the pool and we played. But i must say, i have improved drastically from my last outing. Whereas it took me a good 15 minutes to get into the innertube (thus holding up the match from beginning), i cut down the time by a good... oh 30 seconds... and badaboom that match was on. But honestly, there was no real good flow to the game since there were too many stoppages of play... on account for the other team scoring so frequently haha. But of all the different sports i've played, i gotta say that really sucking at this one has gotta be the best on account for the whole team not being all that great (with the exception of james fong who is a machine... which probably frustrates him but he doesn't show it). That and the fact that the game itself is so ridiculous. I mean waterpolo on its own sounds a little suspect. Putting people in inflatable tubes is the cherry on top. How 2-man luge is considered to be an olympic sport and not this is beyond me. But innertube waterpolo definitely is a reason to come back to the pool (after years of childhood trauma with swimming lessons taught by nazi cows). Peas |
